Trayectoria: Doctor por la Universidad del País Vasco con la tesis titulada “Paisaje y prácticas sociales. Arqueología agraria en el País Vasco”. Miembro de la Sociedad de Ciencias Aranzadi, departamento de Arqueología Histórica. Ha participado en diversos proyectos de investigación en las Universidades del País Vasco, Padua, Siena, Burgos y Autónoma de Barcelona, y ha coordinado proyectos financiados por la Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa y por el Gobierno Vasco. Sus principales áreas de interés se centran en la construcción histórica de los paisajes culturales, y en especial en la interacción entre factores paleoambientales y antrópicos.

Career: PhD by the University of the Basque Country with the thesis entitled «Landscapes and social practices. Agrarian archaeology in the Basque Country». Member of the Aranzadi Sciences Society, department of Historic Archaeology. He has taken part in several research projects at the Universities of the Basque Country, Padua, Siena, Burgos and Autónoma de Barcelona, and he has coordinated funded projects by the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa and the Basque Government. His main lines of research focus on the historic construction of cultural landscapes, and in special the interaction between palaeoenvironmental and anthropic elements.
